Keep On Truckin
Had the scan today. Results were ....... Inconclusive.
Excatly what I expected the results to be.
Is anything ever conclusive with this junk?
Never!
They said there is so much "noise" on the CT scan that they cannot tell if there is any improvement. They say the noise is due to the chemo-imbolization proceedure haveing residuial effects still.
But they did say that they think there has not been any drastic growth. So we have either slowed the progression or arrested it or we are making headway, one of those three. The prescription for now is to do another round of pills now and see the Dr. in 3 weeks.
Then we will do blood work tests and probably continue with the 2 weeks on medicine and 1 or 2 weeks off medicine, depending on what my blood levels can handle.
Then do another scan in about August or September. As long as I don't have a bad turn and start feeling very ill.
So really what I have to report today is a 3 month delay in any real news.
Here is a picture of the machine I was on today, need to add some graphics to spiffy up the blog.
Simens Somaton Sensation.
Talk to you later.
